After the Board of Education voted to do 1st review of the unacceptable January History & Social Sciences Standards of Learning (SOLs) draft, the Virginia Department of Education has began a public comment period (February 3 – March 21) for it.
We’re hosting 
trainings about how to make your comment (whether written or in-person) effective! Join us to challenge Superintendent Balow’s nontransparent meddling of this SOLs revisions process, as well as advocate for content that better reflects AAPI and other marginalized communities in Virginia public education.
