Every year, bills get voted on to become law at the Virginia General Assembly. Advocacy Day is a celebration of our collective power: this is your chance to connect directly with policymakers, push for change that our communities need, and be a part of the legislative process! ๐
Join us for this exciting day of advocacy, good food, and camaraderie of fellow Virginians striving for social, racial, and economic justice! โ Invite your friends, family, and fellow community members. We can also sign off on volunteer or practicum hours for students. The more voices, the greater our impact! ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฃ
No advocacy or lobbying experience needed- we’ll train you on what to expect at the General Assembly. If you need a ride, we can coordinate carpools from Northern Virginia, and will do our best to coordinate if you live elsewhere in Virginia.
