Join Hamkae Center for another group canvassing training & session to build connections and Asian American community power! We’ll spend some time in a Northern Virginia neighborhood, talking with our Asian neighbors at the doors to learn what’s impacting our communities on the day-to-day, and spread some knowledge about the elections later this year and the different ways we can vote to make our issue priorities heard!
No canvassing experience needed; we’ll host a virtual training on 8/21 and do a quick overview before we hit the doors. (if you’ve taken our canvassing training before, no need to attend the 8/21 training). Bring a friend or family member who is interested in civic engagement and/or learning about local Asian American issues, and send them this page to RSVP!
