Amy Tran

“Before the internship, I never considered going into education and I thought I would want to become a psychologist in a private practice, but the work I did at Hamkae Center in addition to my college courses have led me to my new dream of becoming a elementary school psychologist because of how accessible that makes mental health care for students. I am facilitating a workshop at the ECAASU conference about APIDA mental health care and the abolition of police within schools, which is primarily based on my project I did for this internship. These victories would not have been possible without you guys- so, thank you!”
