Every year, bills get voted on to become law at the Virginia General Assembly. Advocacy Day is a celebration of our collective power: this is your chance to connect directly with policymakers, push for change that our communities need, and be a part of the legislative process! 📜
Join us for this exciting day of advocacy, good food, and camaraderie of fellow Virginians striving for social, racial, and economic justice! ✊ Invite your friends, family, and fellow community members. We can also sign off on volunteer or practicum hours for students. The more voices, the greater our impact! 📣📣📣
No advocacy or lobbying experience needed- we’ll host an in person and virtual training early January so you know what to expect at the General Assembly. If you need a ride, we can coordinate carpools from Northern Virginia, and will do our best to coordinate if you live elsewhere in Virginia.
